Terms of Use

The provider is Colopoint GmbH, Lindleystraße 12, 60314 Frankfurt am Main, Germany (see legal notice). By installing or using the app you accept these terms. Deviating terms apply only if we agree to them in writing.

Yammo shows how many people would buy a food product again, and what they paid for it. Those are other users’ opinions, not verified facts.

• Yammo is not nutritional, medical or financial advice.
• Product details come from open data sources (Open Food Facts) and may be outdated or incomplete. The packaging always prevails — especially for allergies and intolerances.
• Prices are individual users’ statements about a single purchase, not current market prices.

The app can be used without an account. If you create one, you provide accurate information, keep your credentials secret and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be 16 or older. You can delete the account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account); we may suspend an account for serious or repeated breaches of these terms.

You remain responsible for ratings, texts and photos you contribute. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to store, display and evaluate them in aggregate form (e.g. as a repurchase rate) for the purpose of operating the app. You confirm that you hold the rights required to do so.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and for users who harass others. In particular, the following are prohibited:

• insulting, threatening, hateful or discriminatory content
• harassment, stalking or exposing other people
• unlawful content, content about third parties without their consent, third parties’ personal data
• spam, advertising, fake or purchased ratings, and any attempt to manipulate the repurchase rate
• automated scraping of the app or circumvention of technical protections

Every rating can be reported and every account blocked. We review reported content within 24 hours and remove it, or suspend the account, where it breaches these rules. The support page explains how.

The app is free and currently contains no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. Your mobile or internet provider’s data charges apply.

We keep developing Yammo and may change, add or discontinue features. We do not owe uninterrupted operation; maintenance and outages are possible. We will announce material changes to these terms in the app or by email; if you do not object within six weeks, or continue using the app, the new terms apply.

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For simple negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability is otherwise excluded. We give no warranty for other users’ content or for data from external sources.

These terms are concluded between you and Colopoint GmbH, not between you and Apple or Google. We alone are responsible for the app and its content; Apple and Google have no maintenance or support obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Questions about these terms: hello@lynk.run.
